The bibliography was started at the time of the Research Review in 1992-3 when researchers who were invited to join the Centre's Research Register were asked to provide details of their publications. The bibliography was developed using the PAPYRUS package but has subsequently been transferred to ACCESS to facilitate publication on the Internet. Since 1992 some subject areas, such as geology and archaeology, have been searched particularly thoroughly. The bibliography covers all published works in any subject area relating to the Isle of Man. This is an on-going project so please be patient with us. We feel it will be more useful to get this online in its present state than wait until it is in a perfect condition. We hope very much that you will provide us with feedback in your subject area.

The next major thrust on the bibliography will be aimed at providing a bibliography volume for the New History. Much work is also require in keeping the bibliography updated and structuring the keyword system.
